The raised stainless-steel pattern protects the nonstick coating from scratching, making this pan ideal for use with metal utensils. You never need to worry about what utensil you or anyone in your house uses – the scratch-resistant nonstick is protected. The 3-ply clad construction delivers professional quality heat transfer. Both made of stainless steel, the exterior steel layer is induction-capable while the interior steel layer is 304 non-reactive surgical grade stainless. Sandwiched between these layers is a layer of aluminum that helps to conduct the heat evenly through both the bottom and walls of the pan.
